Professional Summary
Dr. Burilovich's commitment to students and teaching excellence have earned her numerous awards such as the Dean's Faculty Achievement Award, the Department of Accounting Faculty Achievement Award (thrice), the Internal Revenue Service Spirit of America Award, and others. She has written and lectured extensively in the area of small business taxation. Her prior career experience included five years as a field auditor for the Internal Revenue Service. She serves as a coordinator and instructor for the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program in Detroit.
