Professional Summary
Dr. Woodland is a full professor of Decision Science, employed at Eastern Michigan University since 1982. Her primary research interests are investigating risk attitudes of investors and testing for market efficiency using sports betting markets. Recognition from the University, College and the EMU Alumni Association has been given through awards for outstanding teaching and research. She serves as a referee for numerous journals including American Economic Review, Applied Economics, Journal of Finance, and Journal of Political Economy. Dr. Woodland is the president of the college's chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma; faculty advisor for the EMU Thai Student Association and the EMU Men’s Tennis Club; and involved with the EMU MBA Alumni Association.
