Professional Summary
Dr. Milner received his Ph.D. in the field of Organizational Behavior from Michigan State University. Prior to pursuing a career in research and academia, Dr. Milner worked in a variety of business fields including banking, investment finance, insurance, and consumer products finance. Since completing his Ph.D., Dr. Milner continues to apply business theory as a consultant and real estate investor. Dr. Milner has published articles and has given presentations in top business venues. In addition, he continues in the EMU tradition of placing a strong emphasis on quality teaching experiences.

Dr. Milner teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and general management skills. Dr. Milner’s research focuses on psychological contracts and social exchanges between peers, with a particular emphasis on breach events.
