D Robert Okopny

Dr. Okopny has been very active in professional organizations including the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Institute of Management Accountants . He has been the Coordinator of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Internal Audit Endorsed Internal Audit Program at EMU since its inceptions in 1990. He is faculty advisor for the IIA Student Chapter. Dr. Okopny frequently presents at professional meetings, including those of the Michigan Association of CPAs, IIA, and Institute of Management Accountants.
