Bachelors of Business Administration-Major in
Computer Information Systems

In this program students will learn everything they need to design, develop, and deploy a wide range of integrated, end-to-end business applications and services to assist small, medium and large businesses become more connected with customers, employees, partners, and suppliers. Students will use products and technologies to build solutions that connect people to each other and to the business processes. They will learn about interoperability and will see roadmaps with products and technologies such as instant messaging, live communications, workflows, and portals. Students will learn how to integrate line of business applications and business processes, how to perform business-to-business communication, and how to develop comprehensive and reliable e-business solutions.

This program provides cutting-edge education on designing, building, deploying, managing, and maintaining reliable database systems and data warehouses including business intelligence and business activity monitoring applications.

The CIS graduates will be prepared to increase the security, availability, and manageability of the IT environments. The CIS students will learn how to address and solve these critical IT challenges by using management tools and solutions that will enable them to create and administer diverse IT environments effectively.

The CIS students will learn how to protect enterprises by architecting and managing an effective defense-in-depth strategy. They will learn about the latest security features and how to design and deploy a secure integrated infrastructure.
